YEARBOOK PORTRAITS FOR SENIORS: 2023-2024
Oak Creek High School
You are free to choose any studio you wish.
No particular photographer has been selected by the yearbook or by the school.
DEADLINE: Monday, October 16, 2023
Failure to meet this deadline means that your picture may not be included in the yearbook.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
We accept only digital files.
Submit your high resolution senior photo by going to this page
o File format: jpeg or jpg (You may not submit other file formats; no Word, no PDFs, etc.)
o Photo orientation: Vertical photos only
o File resolution: 300 DPI (minimum)
o Crop size: approximately 2” x 3”
We will not accept photos that do not meet these guidelines:
• No props (sports equipment, sunglasses, musical instruments, cars, animals, bouquets, etc.).
• Attire must be consistent with the school dress code (hats/hoods).
• Photo must be appropriate to be published in a high school yearbook.
SCHEDULING RECOMMENDATIONS:
Check with your photographer for their specific recommendations on when to get your photo taken. It is your responsibility to inform your photographer of the school deadline and to be sure that they can comply.
The portrait section of the yearbook is a document of historical record for the school and community. As such, adherence to established standards of propriety and good taste are expected in terms of facial expression, attire, overall demeanor, photo background, etc.
